Nancy J. Tresser, M.D., M.B.A., Vice President and Chief Medical Officer

"The Niris Imaging System will prove to be a welcome addition to many medical disciplines that benefit from real-time information. Physicians will be guided by on-demand, real-time tissue microstructure imaging. Patients will benefit from this non-invasive method that enables their physician to biopsy with increased accuracy. Patients will also appreciate the effect Niris can have on organ-sparing procedures; it will help to decrease the risk of local recurrence, while increasing the amount of organ residual in select cases. I believe that the clinical and research applications to which Niris can be applied are limited only by our imagination."

Dr. Tresser has over 15 years of experience in the medical field in various settings including academics, government and private practice. Her impressive background includes experience at the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Office of the Clinical Director, in Bethesda, Maryland, where she served as Special Expert, Neuropathologist. Additional past experience includes serving as Staff Neuropathologist at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, both located in Tampa, Florida.
